Riverson
5 yo, 17.2H Oldenburg gelding by Riverman. How to describe this horse? His presence, personality and ability are remarkable. He is an amazing mover with an above average walk and trot and a heavenly canter. He is one of our homebreds and he just exudes quality and grace. He has been started very slowly and correctly, and has never been pushed but has always been asked for something in his training. The result is a horse that delights in his work and gives it an honest try every time he is ridden. Perhaps the most outstanding thing about him is his balance - for a big growing horse, he is amazingly balanced and is a true uphill ride in all his gaits which are light, supple and forward. He is a genuine pleasure to ride; sensitive to your aids without being hot or spooky. He's a very tall, leggy horse - which adds to his elegant impression and he has good bone and a HUGE foot. He began showing lightly this summer getting the high score of the day across all levels at a local PVDA show with a 76.8% and was high score champion. He's had two events, a 5th at his first at BN and a 2nd at novice a week later. He had the best score of the day (again!) in dressage across all levels. He is an absolutely brilliant jumper with the technique and heart to make a make a world class event horse! Extraordinary movement, Extraordinary mind! Lexie - 6 yo 15.2H Warmblood Mare. Eventing Superstar! This mare truly does have it all. Eye-popping movement that will grab any judge's eye, an exquisite head, picture perfect conformation. She is inspected, branded and registered with RPSI and out of Hanoverian and Trakhener bloodlines. This is the family of Elstar who sold to Kelly Kline, wife of Calvin Klein for $450,000 and Laiken, a dressage stallion who sired an adult amateur all breed year end champion. Her Trakhener bloodlines go back to european eventing blood. Her value as a broodmare is considerable. She began her eventing career this summer and has blown us all away with her talent, after one BN, which she won, she moved right up to novice, which she won! She did several more novices then moved up to training. She has two trainings under her belt, the last with a 5th place finish. She was never out of the top three at novice and always scored in the low thirties in dressage. But it is on xc that she truly shines. An absolute packer xc, you can literally gallop her on the buckle - she is brave, handy, clever and a ton of fun. 17H, 5 yo, black clyde cross gelding. This big crossbred gelding is a dream come true. He is currently hunting second flight with Blue Ridge Hunt and is a blast. He has the most uphill canter and never, ever takes a hold while galloping. He is so much fun on the hunt field - good with hounds, easy to rate Despite his size, he is easy enough for a lady. He is quiet and easy around the barn, great to hack out alone or in company. He goes through anything and with a little work would make a super event horse. He is showing good form over fences and will move up to first flight this season. With a little more mileage, this horse will pack anyone out hunting.
